Historic Idaho Steerhorn Mount - 112 Inches tip to tip This longhorn mount is an Idaho legend ! They were owned by Sulphur Creek and Pistol Creek founders Marv and Barbara Hornback, and we understand they hung at Pistol Creek for many years. In 1966 , after Marvins untimely death, Barbara loaned them to the Pioneer Tent & Awning Co. to hang in their historic downtown Boise building. There is a note attached to the back of the mount attesting to this. We came in possession of this spectacular mount from the daughter of Marvin & Barbara who could no longer keep them, and after having them hang in our office until we sold our business, we are ready to pass them along to new caretakers. The horns measure 112 inches from tip to tip, and are bound with a handsome tooled leather binding. They are magnificent, and a real Idaho Treasure. Priced at $3500. Call to see. 208-562-8348

Comments and Description:
An authentic 105MM 1953 Howitzer Blank Shell Casing that was used during the Korean War era. This came from an old Military practice range, was buried for 50+ years and in "as-is" found condition. Finish has been applied to the surface to preserve it and labeled for identification. A true military artifact. The metal on these must be of quality because they ring like an old school bell when tapped. Each one has its own character in condition and color. Measures approx. 6" long and base 4 3/4" wide.
