Comments and Description:

I like these old classic stainless 64s (& the Model 10s-- blued), don't you?  I may be mistaken, but as I watched It's a Wonderful Life last Christmas, that scene in "Pottersville" when Burt the Police Man fires a few rounds at George Bailey-- and misses--- and yet hits one of the lights in the "Pottersville" sign?  Is that not an S&W Model 10?  ha ha!  Love that scene! Two stainless edition 64s, 4" heavy barrel, w/Hogue Gripss & original wood grips.  The top is a 64-3 sqaure butt; The bottom is a 64-5 round butt. They are used w/new Hogue grips & include fair wear on the original hardwood grips, and deemed VERY GOOD mechanical condition.  A great gift for that special friend---and who would absolutely love to own a vinatage revolver.  Also, a VERY PRACTICAL workhorse 38 Special for your hunting rig or RV.  Ponder it!

* The S&W 64-5:  349.50 - bottom revolver on Pictures 2, 3, 4

{For the less familiar, a little history:  The S&W six shot revolver was chambered in 38 special and was widely used by several U.S. police, sheriff, and state agencies.  The Model 64 was a popular choice in high humid states because the stainless model 64 was more corrosion resistant than the blue model 10.  Noted for its accuracy, dependability and manageable recoil, the 64 & 10 remain a popular S&W revolver more than 100 years after its introdution.  New model 64s today retail for $600}
