Q: What is ZIdaho.com?
A: ZIdaho.com is Idaho’s best local marketplace featuring classifieds, jobs, cars & trucks, real estate, yard sales, local events and free giveaways! It's the environmentally friendly way to buy and sell online.
Q: What can I find on ZIdaho.com?
A: ZIdaho.com features a wide range of classified ads including cars & trucks, furniture, real estate, jobs, pets, farm supply, and everyday items. You’ll also find an easy way to search local events and add yours for free! We also offer online contests on PrizeCenter that you can enter to win free tickets to a variety of events.
Q: What do I do if I can’t login?
A: If you are having problems logging into your account, verify you are using the right e-mail address and password. Note that passwords are case sensitive. If you continue to have problems, try resetting your password to your account. Click on Forgot Password and a new password will be sent to your provided e-mail address. Note: ZIdaho.com Wheels requires a separate account and log-in.
Q: What do I do if I forgot my password or my password doesn’t work?
A: If you are having problems with your password or you have forgotten your password, you will need to reset it. For security reasons, we cannot retrieve your password for you. Enter your e-mail address and then click on Forgot Password. A new password will be sent to your provided e-mail address. You can then revise your password once you are able to login to your account. Go to My Account and click on Change Password.
Q: How do I reset my password?
A: If you have forgotten your password, enter your e-mail address and click the Forgot Password link. A new password will be created for you and e-mailed to the address provided. You can then login to your account and go to Change Password under My Account to revise your password.
Q: How do I place an ad?
A: Begin creating your online ad by selecting "Submit your ad" at the top of the page. Next, select the type of the ad you want to place. If you haven’t already created an account with ZIdaho.com you will need to do so. If you have an existing account you may login. Select a broad category for your ad and then a more specific classification. You will then follow the instructions provided to create your ad.
Q: How do I edit/change my ad?
A: You can change your online ad at any time including text and photos. To edit your existing ad, Click Here to login with your e-mail address and password. Locate your ad under View Current Ads. Use the "Manage Ad" drop down to make necessary changes ("Edit Details"). Please allow at least 20 minutes for your revised ad to appear online.
Q: How do I renew my ad?
A: Login to your account using your e-mail address and password. Locate your ad under View Current Ads, and then click to view all your existing ads. You may have some open and some closed. To renew an ad simply click on the "Manage Ad" drop down and select "Renew."
Q: Once my ad expires do I have to re-submit my ad?
A: No. You may renew an expired ad at any time by logging into your account, locating your ad under View Current Ads, and then clicking "Renew" under "Manage Ad."
Q: How do I delete/cancel my ad?
A: To cancel your online ad login to your account. Once logged in, click on View Current Ads. Next, click "Close" under "Manage Ad."
Q: How many photos can I upload?
A: You may place up to 5 photos per ad.
Q: What type of photos can I upload?
A: We currently accept photos in the following formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .giff, .png, .tif, and .bmp.
Q: How long does it take for my ad to appear online?
A: Generally it will take around 20 minutes for your ad to process, however please allow up to one day for your ad to appear online. This also includes any revisions you make to an ad.
Q: How is my privacy protected?
Q: How do I extend the duration of my ad?
A: ZIdaho.com classified ads run for 30 days. You always have the option to renew your ad.
Q: I accidentally closed out of my account when placing my ad. What should I do?
A: Log back into your account and click on View Current Ads. This will show you what ads are open, closed or in process. If you don’t see the ad you are trying to place, you may need to re-submit.
Q: Am I allowed to list real estate for rent? For sale?
A: Yes, you may place an ad for real estate for rent. Please view our Rentals category for specific classifications. Also, please note that our Rentals category is separate from our real estate for sale platform. Important: Stating a discriminatory preference in a housing ad is illegal.
We use a separate platform and vendor for our real estate for sale (Trulia). Trulia is for agent listings (MLS based). We currently do not support For Sale By Owner (FSBO) ads. To learn how to get your home added to MLS, please contact http://www.trulia.com/submit_listings/
Q: I listed a pet ad, but it was deleted. Why?
A: As stated on the sign-up page, pet ads must include a local telephone number. Any ad without a working local telephone number will be deleted. This is part of our on-going effort to eliminate ads that may be fraudulent in nature.
Q: Can I add HTML tags or URLs in my ad?

A: Please allow 24 hours for your ad to place. We also suggest double-checking your ad start-date (it should generally be the current date and time). If after 24 hours you still do not view your ad please contact us.
Q: I’ve received a suspicious inquiry from a potential buyer. What should I do?
A: Please be cautious when dealing with any online buyer/seller. Unfortunately there are a number of scams out there. We suggest dealing with local buyers/sellers. A: Log-in to your account to view your existing ads. Close any ads that are no longer relevant. Use "Manage Ad."

Q: How do I list a vehicle model older than 1980?
A: Unfortunately at this time our Wheels feature does not support vehicle models prior to 1980.
