Beautiful Winchester Model 54 manufactured in 1926. The Winchester Model 54, introduced in 1925, was Winchester Repeating Arms Company's first successful civilian bolt-action rifle designed for high-velocity centerfire cartridges. Drawing inspiration from the Mauser 98 action, the Model 54 featured a controlled-round-feed system, a two-stage trigger, and a three-position wing safety. It was chambered in various calibers. Over its 12-year production run, approximately 50,000 Model 54 rifles were manufactured.
