This detective special is a first generation pre WW2 firearm that is in remarkably good condition. Colt archives verified its date of manufacture through Email. I sent a photo of the gun and included the serial # for verification. Its chambered in 38 special. Great condition... it has minimal wear on the handle and hammer but has no blemishes or scratches on the frame and barrel. Its completely functional and shoots.
