I have real shooter here as it is a Marlin model 336 and the caliber is 444 big bore. Now it’s in great shape (98% condition) and “JM” marked. This rifle is different from others as I had an 8oz. mercury suppressor installed in the butt stock which took away 65-70 % of the recoil. I liked it so much I put a scope on the rifle and was never scoped above the eye ever and I always reloaded hot loads. It has a 22-inch barrel and as the picture shows the blue is still at the end of the barrel which tells you that it has been shot very little. I took it hunting one year and a bear was killed with one shot at less than 50 yards. There is a Redfield 3x9 scope and the lens are crystal clear with fine crosshairs. I’ve seen many rifles like this but not in the same shape go for over $1100.00 and has sold. I’m asking $925.00 which is a steal! You must be able to pass a 4473 as I’m an FFL dealer to purchase and payment is by cash only as I do not take credit cards and sorry but no trades, please.
