Description
Yes the titles correct, this is a Winchester 1893 the 97's daddy. this gun has been taken to the white. I think someone was going to re-blue this at some point because of how clean the metal is. the wood is in amazing shape for how old this old girl is, she was probably made between 1894-96. The original serial number was over stamped WRA Co. from my research it seems Sear & Roebuck did this though shell company's so Winchester didn't know who was buying there guns, Sears would then under cut Winchester and other stores on there resale of the guns. I guess these are fairly rare birds, but it outta my wheel house. so shoot me an offer or trade.
