This is a very nice and scarce all-matching and all-original German K98k Mauser Rifle made in 1943 at the WAFFENFRABRIK BRUNN factory using the Dot 43 code. All numbers match including the entire bolt and firing pin, both barrel bands, trigger, stock and handguard, trigger guard and floorplate, entire rear sight assembly, etc. The stock is a red laminate and in nice overall condition. The rifle shows wear, as it almost certainly saw action on the eastern front before being captured on the western front by a GI. No import mark. Comes with repro cleaning rod, repro sight hood, original german sling w/ repro sling keeper. It also comes with a nice wartime german bayonet. It locks onto the rifle well. The wood between the trigger cutout and the magazine cutout on the stock has separeted due to delamination, but is intact and in place. Can easily be repaired. Some light delamination elsewhere on the stock, which is expected for an 80 year old stock. A very nice and collector grade condition all-matching rifle. Asking $2300.
