This is a very nice and scarce Egyptian Hakim. The Hakim Rifle is a semi-automatic rifle that was produced in Egypt in the 1950s and early 1960s. It is based on the Swedish Ljungman AG-42 rifle, but has some modifications such as themuzzle brake, an adjustable gas system, and no cleaning rod. The Hakim Rifle uses the 8×57mm Mauser cartridge and has a 10-round detachable box magazine. It was used by the Egyptian military in the 1956 War and later conflicts. This rifle is in good overall condition, the stock shows its service wear with some small arsenal repairs. The bluing is in good shape. Import marked on right side of receiver. A nice and hard to find rifle. I do have ammo available at 75c a round. Asking $1000. I take trades on Military Surplus items only.
