For sale is a Tang Chang An bow from Alibow. This asymmetric beauty was inspired by historic period Chinese bows of the Tang dynasty. Alibow is an authority on traditional asiatic archery and has a great reputation for quality. The bow is of laminate construction with maple and fiberglass components. It can be drawn at a typical 28” draw length, though the bow can also be drawn to 35” with a draw weight of 48 lbs. I think the draw weight at 28” is 35 pounds, but I’m not completely positive. Included with the bow are six handmade bamboo and turkey feather arrows from Sarmat Archery, with lengths and weights calculated for optimal use with this bow. Also included are a side quiver for holding arrows and an embroidered bow sock for protecting the bow when not in use. Below is a link to an in-depth video review with more information. This bow was only shot a handful of times indoors and is in mint condition. It was purchased new about 2 years ago. Unfortunately my time has been spread too thin between work and family obligations to justify keeping it, so it’s time to let it go.
