Seller's Comments and Description:
I bought this Sako while stationed in Germany June 1972. I've read that 1972 was the last year Sako hand ingraved the stalk. Already an experienced open country hunter of the Snake River breaks, I camoed it to effectively decrease glare. That worked. I am moving into a retirement community and must sell my firearms. I have the original product information including bolt dissassembly & parts listing. The rifle sale includes a Redfield Widefield 3-9 variable scope which offers a field of view that is 30% wider than conventional scopes, nearly 40 feet wide at 100 yards. The Widefield is mounted lower on the receiver so you get a quicker sight picture when you shoulder the rifle. The Widefield is also waterproof, fogproof and shockproof and offers a fully multi-coated lense for a sharp clear sight picture.
