I have this carcano which I’m willing to let go from my collection. The receiver/barrel says 1896 so this is a fairly early carbine. I’m pretty sure it saw a decent amount of service but it is still a nice rifle with a good bore. It also comes with four clips and 50 rounds of ammo. This ammo is hard to find and most of the rifles you find are gonna be later dates. Your not gonna find very many of these that are pre 1898
