I bought this with plans to use on an M1a platform but because that is a difficult rifle to scope properly, I just couldn't get the correct eye relief needed with the setup I have. Purchased brand new and was only put on my mount and taken off due to needing more eye relief. Not a fault of the scope, just the platform it was going on and that's the only reason I'm selling it. If I had something else to put it on I'd keep it but anything else I have already wears some variant of a PA scope already. The ACSS aurora reticle featured on this is specifically for 5.56/.308 and if used in that context is an amazingly effective reticle.
