This rifle is brand NEW and has been fired (8) shots for accuracy verification; Rifle shot .260" 3-shot group and is guaranteed to shoot 1/2 MOA at 100 yards (see actual target); Weight of the rifle is only 7.2 pounds. Shilen Match Grade Carbon Fiber barrel (Barrel nut) Sendero contour taper, 1:8 Twist, chambered in 7 PRC; Bergara B-14 receiver/action (super smooth); Custom bolt fluting (wrought iron style; 24" long carbon fiber barrel with the muzzle threaded 5/8-24, custom muzzle brake included; Please note 7 PRC needs a 24" min. barrel length to reach the velocities that make this cartridge achieve its full potential. You may notice other 7 PRC rifles out there that claim lightweight long range hunter, etc., but many will have a 22" barrel (or shorter); Chambering and threading done by Crown Ridge Barrel Works. These guys are producing some excellent work with chambers that are match grade and precision dialed concentricity; Bergara's fully adjustable trigger that is crisp and breaks like glass; Bergara stock with aluminum pillars with action fully glass bedded for ultimate accuracy; Barrel and receiver have been coated with Aluma-Hyde II for increased protection. Aluma-Hyde II is a great product when applied correctly, and my preference over Cerakote (due to Cerakote insulating the barrel and trapping heat); Precision head spacing with Forster headspace gauge; Tactical bolt knob Polymer bottom plate with detachable magazine with 5 round capacity. Detachable magazine made in the USA by Legacy Sports and custom fitting for function. Plenty of space for longer seated bullets, if needed; Please use a properly fitted bore guide and coated cleaning rod (I recommend Tipton carbon fiber rods, which are great) Boretech Carbon Cleaner and Eliminator are all I use and strongly recommend for cleaning the rifle. DON’T use any abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals; STRONGLY recommend Burris XTR Signature rings (ones with the plastic inserts) with a high-quality scope. I have observed many accuracy issues where folks think their rifle is the issue with accuracy when in fact the scope and/or its mounting system is the culprit (or barrel fouling). Once I fix the scope mounts (and install a high-quality scope), their rifle accuracy comes back with consistent and repeatable POI shots. There are many rifle builders out there with claims of guaranteed accuracy. Accuracy of a rifle depends on many factors, (rifle, scope, shooter, ammo, barrel quality, barrel fouling, etc.); This rifle has a custom barrel that guarantees 1/2" MOA or better; I have no doubt this rifle will shoot 1/2” MOA or better and be a great long-range rifle!!I have been building long range precision rifles for several years and only sell rifles I fully support. I work exclusively with REM 700 and Bergara (700 clone) actions and their accessories to build a long-range rifle with exceptional accuracy (I have worked with barrels from Bartlein, Pac-Nor, McGowen, Crown Ridge, etc.) Whether you are into long-range hunting or ringing steel out to 1000+ yards, be confident that this rifle will meet your needs.
