Seller's Comments and Description:
Our theme for this litter is “Idaho Native” —Sage (Brush), Rocky (mountain), Arrow (leaf), Lewis (mock orange flower), (White) Pine, and Huckleberry. Our puppies will be raised with puppy culture, ENS, Vallard aptitude tested (temperament tested), vet checked with UTD vaccines and dewormer appropriate for their age. They are exposed to kids, chickens, ducks, cattle, goats, bunnies, and cats. Some specialized training is available. They will also be started on basic commands sit, down, come, kennel as well as beginning leash training. We start training at 5 weeks of age and all our puppies go home knowing sit and starting down. They will come with a puppy package of the essentials for their first couple weeks. Which includes their own collar, food, a toy, a blanket rubbed down with mommas scent, sample vitamin supplement and puppy passport (vaccine record). Both parents are genetic tested clear, around 90 lb and 125 lb, vet checked healthy and AKC registered. Because they are a cross they cannot be registered. Holly is the chillest dog of all time! She’s extremely sweet and docile. Fantastic with kids and animals of all kinds. Shes the BEST guardian and has raised several Great Pyrenees litters with excellent temperaments! Dusty is a little more active then Holly and we expect a good mix between. He’s a goofy boy and loves his family. He’s smart and very obedient! He is also great on our homestead. It’s amazing how much they love to stick around home (no wandering!) Sometimes referred to as the “Idaho Mountain Dog” this is a Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees cross litter. My kids have deemed them “Newfinees”. Although we would never have planned this litter there are some known benefits of crossing the two. Newfies and Pyrs have several similar traits. The main difference is Great Pyrenees are known Guardians where Newfies are not. They also have a few traits that crossing makes the best of both worlds! If you were looking for a large dog that is calm, cool, and collected, the Great Pyrenees and Newfoundland have both certainly come across your path. Intelligent, watchful, and great with Children. You couldn’t choose a better temperament for a breed if you’re looking for a highly affectionate and super agreeable dog. These dogs are the perfect combination of intelligent, gentle, and useful. They will absolutely love having a job to do, and feeling like they’re doing their part around the house. Because of both parents’ breed natures, Great Pyrenees Newfoundland do their very best when they have a job, and many prefer being outside. These dogs are ideal companions if you have a lot of land or space to run around. They will meander about the property, making sure all is well. Because of their thick, well-equipped coats, they will do best in colder temperatures as well and can live both indoor and outdoor. Please feel free to reach out for other questions! Payette Idaho.
