My husband got us three pups.
I (the mom) can’t do 3 pups and 2 kids. We had the girls choose 2 of the pups, they chose the highly energetic ones at first. Now my 8 year old daughter wants to keep this one that is posted because he turned out to be the most perfect dog, but I want her to stand behind her decision although everyday I am on the fence about possibly keeping him. He will be the kind of dog that you form a lifetime connection with. Out of all the dogs we had growing up there was only one that that’s happened with for me. The one that truly becomes man’s best friend.
Some are too energetic or some are too obsessed with their toys rather than people, some are too mellow and keep to themselves.
Koda is a gem. (His current name with us is Koda - it means friend) He is very playful with people - when he sees you he doesn’t just wag his tail he shakes his whole butt lol happy guy. If you sit with him he will stay put and cuddle with you. He is smart and intuitive - good kind of natural therapy dog which is another reason I would want to keep him because it will be another source of anxiety relief for the kids as they will continue to get older. We have a small yard and every time I’m out there I’m reminded that I can’t keep all of them unfortunately with all the “treats” they leave behind.
I’m rambling my thoughts out on to this post I guess but I hope it helps paint a better background for Koda.
We are located in Nampa you can come meet him for yourself.
He is a mini poodle, which is a breed we specially chose as they don’t shed and are the most hypoallergenic breed I believe, so they don’t trigger our kids allergies even though they both are allergic to dogs.
He is 12 weeks old and is up to date on all shots and deworming.
