Seller's Comments and Description:
Back in the 1960s Golden State Arms Corporation purchased military surplus rifles/pistols from many countries around the world, such as France, Britain, Italy and Germany. They would dress up these rifles/pistols, add missing parts, replace broken sights, stocks, hand guards, bayonet lugs, worn barrels, etc and then resell the rifles through their Santa Fe division in Pasadena, California. As a young boy, my father would take me with him and we’d spend hours looking through the store at all of the cool military surplus arms from the many armies around the world. We purchased many military pistols and rifles from them over the years. My dad, for some reason, loved the look of this reconstituted Lee-Enfield Jungle Carbine, so he bought it in the mid 60s. GunBroker says it’s now worth between $600-850 depending on condition. This one is in excellent condition. I’ll let this little rifle go for $550 (cash) with proper Idaho ID and being of legal age. Thanks for looking. **Willing to trade for a comparable value 410 or 16 gauge double barrel shotgun.**
