Seller's Comments and Description:

Hoping to sell my CVA Cascade, it has been a wonderful hunting rifle but I am wanting to make the switch to a Howa mini action to get a lighter and more compact rifle for my style of hunting.

The rifle has been a hunting rifle so it has been carried in the field and shows basic signs of such, however I have been very diligent about keeping the rifle rust free and well maintained, so aside from some minor scuffing the rifle is in great shape. The stock is painted with a satin clear coat finish which has actually held up much better than I anticipated it to, I did that when I first bought it two years ago and it only shows a little wear at high friction points, but to your discretion can still be removed with acetone or citristrip.

The optic on the gun is an Athlon Helos BTR Gen 2 2-12x42 in Warne 30mm medium rings, with MIL turrets and reticle, really impressive scope which has wonderful turrets for dialing, glass is exceptional as well.

Additionally, I am selling this rifle with 60 rounds of Hornady Precision Hunter 143gr. ELD-X, which this gun shoots amazingly well and is currently zeroed for at 200 yards. I only shoot to five round groups, but have yet to get one to print larger than 1" without it being an obvious shooter error, typically these shoot around the .75 MOA mark, reliably under 1 MOA without any doubt. This is the only ammo I have fired through the rifle, which has a total round count of 240-260 rounds, of which I have saved 200 pieces of brass, the brass doesn't reflect in the price, just throwing it in for free if you want it, otherwise it's getting mailed to a buddy.

Given the optic sells new for around the $450-$500 dollar mark, the rifle sells new around the $600-$700 range, and the ammo is around 40 bucks a box on the low end in stores, not to mention tax I do feel that $900 for everything pictured, or $500 for the rifle and ammo only, however the rifle and ammo do need to go together as I do not own another 6.5 creedmoor. I feel that this is a reasonable price so I am not super willing to budge on it, but am still happy to hear reasonable OBO offers. All I ask is the buyer much provide proof of Idaho residency and be willing to sign a bill of sale.
