This is an UNFIRED Colt M4A1 produced and purchased in 2013. The rifle features the heavier SOCOM-style barrel/profile, ambidextrous safety selector, and the standard Colt mil-spec lower receiver stamped/marked “M4A1”. Notably, this example is fitted with a genuine Knights Armament Company (KAC) rail system This rifle was purchased in 2013 and is an original 2013-production Colt. Early production examples from that year are sought after by collectors and Colt enthusiasts due to the transition to the updated M4A1 spec.
