Seller's Comments and Description:
I am looking for evening hands on care for my husband who is mostly paralyzed following a car accident several years ago. We have an unusual schedule, as we alternate between long and short shifts. The longer shifts start at 8 pm and last 4 to 5 hours. The shorter shifts start at 9 pm and last about 2 hours. CNA experience is helpful but not required as we provide extensive training. We live near Lake Lowell, and are convenient to both Nampa and Caldwell. Pay rate is $13-$15/hour. We are flexible with respect to scheduling...we have thought, for instance, about hiring someone to work Monday through Thursday or Friday evenings, with a second person to work weekend evenings. One week the long nights would be MWF and the next week they would fall on T and Th. We do have a backup caregiver so you can have occasional planned nights off. We do have an electric Hoyer lift so no direct lifting is required. The work is still hands on, and caregivers need to be free of pre-existing back and knee injuries. I would be happy to provide you with detailed information about the job requirements!
