Seller's Comments and Description:

Hello, this is an outstanding piece for several reasons. This is an authentic Japanese Type 99 rifle that was brought home from the pacific theater in World War 2 by a GI. This rifle is what is known as a "last ditch" production with characteristics such as a wooden buttplate that was staked on, primitive sights, and rough metal work, that really shows how desperate the Japanese were to pump out rifles and arm their soldiers as quickly as possible. It is an amazing piece of history, that retains the FULL Chrysanthemum on the receiver, the sacramental symbol of the Japanese Emperor, many of which were ground off by the GI's as weapons were surrendered. Here is your chance to own a real world war 2 Japanese rifle, with incredible history, fully intact and functional. I am asking $725. No trades unless you have other Military Surplus rifles and Pistols to offer. I also buy WW2 guns. I make offers on collections. Please text at 208-219-2920. Thanks.
